General Terms & Conditions

The pricing contained within our standard price list relates to the Melbourne Metropolitan Area Only (excluding Mornington Peninsula south of Frankston). Further travel may be applied at the current hourly rate per Hour per technician

A fuel price surcharge is incorporated within our standard service charge. Given the volatility of fuel prices, we reserve the right to ammend the standard service charge without notice.

Pricing isgenerally quoted for Normal working hours (7am-3pm Monday to Friday). Work outside of these hours may be charged at overtime rates. (x 1.5 for weekdays and x 2 for weekends. Weekend rates are applied from 3pm on Fridays)

If there are restrictions on running Diesel Pump during normal working hours or any other restrictions on access times please let us know before we attend site, so other arrangements can be agreed. If we attend site and are turned away for this reason, a Service Charge will be applied.

If we attend site at the arranged date and time and are unable to carry out the required service by being refused access to site by the client or as a result of the non-attendance of any required third party not arranged by ourselves, a service charge will be applied.

If we are delayed from commencing the agreed services at the agreed time through delay by the client or other required third parties, we reserve the right to apply a charge for waiting time at our standard hourly rate.

If materials are specifically ordered for approved works and the work order for these is subsequently cancelled, any restocking fees and associated freight or delivery charges will be passed on in full.

Where prices are provided on the basis of information supplied and without attending site for an assessment, these prices will be provided as estimates subject to inspection and will not consitute a binding quotation.

Quotations and pricing estimates are valid for 90 days unless otherwise noted.

A 50% deposit will be required at the time of placing an order for any "significant works". "Significant works" could include, but are not limited to the replacement of specific major components such as complete pump sets, diesel engines, pumps, fire pump controllers, where the total value of the works quoted exceeds $10,000.00 plus GST.

Payment terms are 30 days after the end of the month in which the work is carried out, other than as detailed in item 10 above.

Where prices are quoted as “subject to inspection”, the final price may be higher or lower depending on conditions encountered.

Batteries supplied are compliant with AS4026

A restocking fee of 25%
